Dr. Shin is a chief research engineer of LG electronics Inc. He received his Ph.D. degree in 2005 from KAIST. He is currently in charge of propagating TRIZ at LG. His main consulting areas cover developing new product, process innovation, bottleneck problem solving and TRIZ training. His current research interests include developing an efficient methodology for creative problem solving based on TRIZ and its practical application for solving real industry problems.

6. 내용 :

Just look around your surroundings! You can find at least more than 1 slogans related with “INNOVATION”. We live in the world where marketplace realities are changing faster than new practical ideas can be generated. Therefore without continuous effort for being chosen by our customer, we may disappear as a duck takes to water.
To keep up with what our competitors are doing and to meet customers’ ever-changing needs, the ability to generate creative ideas in a short space of time is indispensible. Specially an engineer's problem-solving skill is very important.
TRIZ is a creative problem solving method based on logic and data. Its systematic way of thinking helps us overcome psychological inertia and solve contradictions. In terms of TRIZ, it is not true that only well-informed person can generate breakthrough ideas. Only if we can break our psychological inertia and learn creative thinking patterns, we can make many creative ideas.
I wish this seminar may help you who are feeling very strong thirsty on generating creative ideas. We still have another chance !
