5. 내 용
Digital holographic techniques, especially holographic imaging and manipulation of the wavefront of light, allow the full access in terms of light propagation. By digitally recording the wavefront of the laser beam interacting biological samples, biophysical information about live biological cells can be quantitatively retrieved, from which pathophysiological conditions of the cell can be studies: morphological transition of red blood cell1; parasitization by the P. falciparum parasites2,3; metabolic remodeling of the membrane driven by Adenosine-5'-triphosphate (ATP)4; and sickle cell disease5,6. By adaptively shaping the wavefront of the laser beam, multiple light scattering can be systematically controlled7. Scattered light allows us to access large degree of freedom of light propagation; even spectral and polarization dependency of the light can be simply controlled8,9. Recently, we demonstrate the concept of a scattering super-lens10 and the delivery of optical information through light scattering medium11.
