5.내용:
Since the pioneering work of Astrom and Wittenmark, many researchers have devoted their attention to developing stable and convergent self-tuning control (STC) systems. And it is proved that self-tuning control system that comprises stochastic gradient (SG) estimates and minimum-variance control is stable and convergent. Despite the fundamental progress achieved so far, a general theory of STC is still absent. In the bulk of literatures, many of the existing works have been specific to particular estimation algorithms and control schemes, while only a few attempts have been made towards a unified analysis of the subject from a general perspective. Based on many simulation results, a new concept of virtual equivalent system is proposed by the author in recent years, which may lead to a unified framework for analysis of the stability and convergence of a STC system.
