5. 내 용 :The technology to understand and analyze the characteristics of turbulent flow is the one of the most important elements in enhancing the efficiency of thermo-hydrodynamic machineries, because most of flow phenomena in industry is turbulent flow. Especially, the turbulent model in RANS affect the accuracy of the result in numerical calculations. The most, and several turbulent models can be selected in corresponding to various aspects of turbulent flow phenomena. FLUENT has various turbulent models that can analyze many cases in LES(Large Eddy Simulation) as well as in RANS. This seminar will explain the fundamental characteristics of turbulent flow to understand various turbulent model, and show results of many cases analyzed numerically for enhancing understanding of current turbulent models.
