[기계] Fuel Cells : Synthesis to Systems
1. 제 목 : Fuel Cells : Synthesis to Systems
2. 연 사 : Prof. Jack Brouwer
3. 내 용 :
The research topics addressed will include novel solid oxide fuel cell materials synthesis, development and testing, and fuel cell system integration and modeling.
Understanding and modeling of coupled mass, energy and momentum conservation, together with chemical and electrochemical reaction and heat transfer are important to fuel cell technology advancement and are essential to product development for sustaining the fuel cell community.
Some research that addresses a few fuel cell synthesis and systems topics will be discussed.
4. 일 시 : 2008년 10월 17일 (금) 09:30 ~ 10:30
5. 장 소 : 301동 15층 세미나실(1512호)
6. 약 력 :
- Technical director of the National Fuel Cell Research Center
- Assistant professor of mechanical and aerospace engineering at the University of California, Irvine
- Holds doctoral degree in mechanical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology
- Research interest :
energy conversion with coupled mass, energy and momentum conservation, chemical and electrochemical reaction and heat transfer; steady-state and dynamic modeling of energy conversion devices such as fuel cells, electrolyzers, and gas turbine engines; solid state ionics and electrochemistry; fuel processing; synthesis and experimental investigation of novel fuel cell materials sets; analyses of integrated energy systems comprising fuel cells, photovoltaics, fuel processing, gas turbines, and wind turbines; experimental analyses and model validation; and renewable energy.
