<Research>
His research interests lie mainly in the areas of turbulent combustion, in particular,
on experiments and modelling combustion dynamics in gas turbine (GT) combustors;
on spray formation, evaporation, ignition & flame propagation in diesel, gasoline
engines and also in GT combustors; on combustion in micro-engines; on development
and application of space & time-resolved laser diagnostics for flow and flame; on
development of pulse combustors for spray evaporation and incineration; on
alternative fuels; and on pollutant formation and mitigation.
