[항공] Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS)
1. 제 목: Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS): Fast, in-situ, clean chemical analysis based on laser ablation technology
2. 연 사: Jong Hyun Yoo (유종현 박사)
3. 일 시: 2009년 12월 1일 (화) 18:00 - 19:00
4. 장 소: 서울대학교 301동 1512호 세미나실
5. 내 용: Laser Induced Breakdown Spectroscopy (LIBS) is one of direct solid sampling chemical analysis techniques based on laser ablation technology. Recent advancement in laser and spectrometer technology combined with powerful chemometric algorithm is enabling next generation of LIBS instrument to be more compact, reliable, and accurate in analyzing elemental concentrations and discriminating different substances. In current talk, fundamentals of laser ablation will be discussed and show through understanding of laser material interaction is critical for accurate and precise LIBS analysis. The second part of the presentation will focus on LIBS applications in solar cells, storage media, substances of environmental concerns, semiconductor chip packaging and space exploration and highlight how LIBS can be used in scientific researches as well as in high technology manufacturing processes to continue to improve our lives.
