At first, MHI's gas turbine development activity and history are introduced, This includes the evolution of MHI's gas turbines and features of structure. Secondly, recent topics of high temperature gas turbine technology development are shown. Technology fields are aerodynamics, combustion, heat transfer and materials for 1700 deg C level operation of gas turbines. Thirdly, operation experience of the latest gas turbine is explained.
